The Mezcala culture developed in pre-Columbian between 200-700 B.C. Axe deities like the two pictured, are the artifacts for which the culture is best known. The trio of relics for sale here measure 3.5", 2 1/4", and 7.5" respectively. This, and many lots forthcoming are from the estate of a true antiquity connoisseur in every sense of the word. This antiquarian truly enjoyed the treasures collected as well as world travel, humanitarianism, and missionary work.
