American Carved and Park Painted Carousel Horse, attributed to the C.W. Parker Company, with a carved mane and original glass eyes with original paint. This is price is known as “Abilene style”, due to the sweet face and scroll behind the saddle that was the design style while manufacturing in Abeline Kansas. This piece can easily be simply a piece of art in your home, or securely fastened through its existing holes made for a pole to sit upon, convert to a rocker, etc. completely made of wood, yet hollow in the belly area as all were originally made.Pegi and Robert Sanders acting on faith that others would have the same passion began restoring antique carousel horses, buying brokering, refurbishing carousels all over the United States over a twenty year span. These pieces are part of the living estate of Pegi O Sanders, artist, authoritarian of antique carousels who currently is in retirement in Eustis Florida.Measure 51″ X 44″ X 12″.
