Two Antique Hand Craved Walking Canes

Two Antique Canes- Differing greatly in age and quality of workmanship. But related by the carvings an d symbols in the design. One cane, the older, is deeply carved and is probably Mahogany early 19th century while the other in a lighter color and much more shallowly carved probably a 100 years newer but still antique carvings at the top of both canes have the Mexican symbol (on flag) of an eagle with a snake in its mouth and the catholic head piece of high religious authority . The lower portions differ with the newer piece featuring bull fighting in two areas while the older cane has 3 views of peasants totting foods and organics.. the older has a cheeker background while the other has a reeded surface . both have a carved basket weave handles -origin- believed to be either Spanish or Mexican early piece have age related cracks .
