Allom (1804-1872) was an English artist, architect and topographical illustrator. The two Allom pieces offered here were engraved by W.H Capone. Their titles are: "LANDING PLACE AT YUK-SHAN" & "THE EMPEROR TEAOW-KWANG RECEIVING HIS GUARDS, PALACE OF PEKING". Both engravings measure 13.5" X 14.5", Sight 12.5" x 13 1/4".
