Ancient Phoenician Bronze Boat, circa 1200 B.C. Phoenicia an ancient thalassocratic civilization originating in the Levant region of the eastern Mediterranean, primarily located in modern Lebanon. This little bronze craft probably represented the journey of souls to the next world following their earthly demise. Found at a massive estate in St. Louis, Missouri. Brimming with fine arts, and objects d’art from countries all over the world. This piece has age, handling signatures suggestive of authenticity.
