A great ceramic libation cup with two mythological creatures clinging to the sides. The significant amount of glaze crackle present on this piece suggest it may be a survival of the Tang Dynasty (618-907 A.D.) Standing about 4 1/4″, it, and many lots forthcoming are from the massive central Florida estate of a true antiquity connoisseur in every sense of the word. The monumental collection partially represented in this auction was amassed by the consignor as he traveled the world on humanitarian missions through the course of his adult life.
