An original lithograph on wove paper after English artist Sir Joshua Reynolds (1723-1792) titled "Cornelia, Lady Cockburn and Her Children", 1873. Lithography by English artist E.H. Mitchell (Active: 19th Century). Matted with 100% cotton rag mats from Holland. Matted size: 17" x 15". Image size: 9.5" x 7.25". In excellent condition.Sir Joshua Reynolds RA FRS FRSA ( 16 July 1723 – 23 February 1792) was an influential eighteenth-century English painter, specializing in portraits. He promoted the "Grand Style" in painting which depended on idealization of the imperfect. He was a founder and first president of the Royal Academy of Arts, and was knighted by George III in 1769.
